FCA has worked towards establishing a charitable trust – the Financial Counselling Foundation.
The Foundation’s purpose is to accept voluntary contributions from the many industries that benefit from financial counselling, including banks, utilities, telcos, debt collectors and insurance companies.
The Foundation aims to improve access to financial counselling by providing funding for direct casework or to build the capacity of the sector.
The Foundation was launched on 7th December 2017 and FCA continues to provide administartive support.
